All Art Has Been Contemporary
From 3 February to 11 April 2010 the Centro per l’arte contemporanea Luigi Pecci in Prato presents Alla maniera d’oggi. Base a Firenze an exhibition curated by Marco Bazzini, that will create a dialogue among some of the most renowned museums-historic sites such as the Galleria degli Uffizi, Galleria dell’Accademia, Museo di San Marco, and Cenacolo di Ognissanti, Tuscan artistic production of the past few decades as represented by the BASE artists including. Mario Airò, Marco Bagnoli, Massimo Bartolini, Paolo Masi, Massimo Nannucci, Maurizio Nannucci, Paolo Parisi and Remo Salvadori – They were invited to reinterpret the city’s historic and museum sites in contemporary language. And even if you tried, you can’t miss Maurizio Nannucci’s installation on the façade of the Uffizi: ALL ART HAS BEEN CONTEMPORARY.
