Between Art and life. Andrea Zittel at Palazzo Pitti

Through 16 July 2010 the  Galleria del Costume is hosting the works of one of the most interesting people on the world’s contemporary art scene.

This exhibition – the first by Andrea Zittel in a public Italian museum – presents her work applied to the commonplace with a selection of over 80 pieces: from wagon stations to systems and capsules for living in extreme conditions such as the desert, to clothing-uniforms, paintings on panels, rugs and tapestries.
