The new Museo Galileo is open

The Istituto e Museo di Storia della Scienza is reopening to the public with an entirely refreshed setting, as the Museo Galileo.
The event marks the 400th anniversary of Galileo’s treatise, Sidereus Nuncius, based on his observations through a telescope.

The exhibition itinerary, that focuses on Galileo, covers the history of Florence and Tuscany which, under Medici and then Lorraine rule, were at the forefront of excellence in scientific achievements.
