THE BLOB CLUB

If you’re looking for a classic underground club to visit after dusk, you may enjoy the atmosphere at The Blob. From outside, you can hear music of the 1920s and quite chatter. Old men guard the door without giving you a clue as to what the password is to enter. I’ll give you one hint: The Blob is a Speak Easy. Girls are dressed as flapper chicks and men look sharp in tuxes, top hats, and white gloves – some even carry a cane!
This small two-floor hot spot is a place to sip and chat rather than down shots and grind. People dance and laugh under the shimmering and colorful disco balls, and the Italian language is heard just below the volume of the swing music. All of these components create a unique and elegant ambiance which provide for a one-of-a-kind experience.
