The history of more than 50 years of sport associationism in Tuscany enclosed in a website: 406 associations formed before 1961

Which is the oldest sport society in Tuscany? How many (and which) are the societies more than 100 years old? And which are the champions that have contibuted to spread the experience of Tuscany in Italy and in the world? Questions and curiosities that starting from today could be satisfied by a simple click, thanks to the research directed by Centro Studi e Documentazione Assi Giglio Rosso, which has collected 406 Tuscany associations formed before 1961, which can be consulted in the section “Assessorato allo Sport” of Regione Toscana website.

On the other hand, the website www.sportestoria.org collects video stories and photos of many sport champions, that – through stories and remembrances of their sport experiences – have explained the values of sport to about a thousand students.
