Il corpo, la luce, il suono. Festival dedicated to the language of contemporary

From Saturday, March 24th until Tuesday, March 27th Conservatorio Cherubini of Florence presents Il corpo, la luce, il suono, a festival dedicated to the language of contemporary art. The festival works in collaboration with New York University, the cultural association Fiesolearte, and The International institute of Art and Technology. The exhibition anticipates the execution of multimedia projects produced by important solo artists and young artist from the Department of Music and New Technology of the Conservatorio Cherubini, as well as a seminar, multimedia concerts, and the presence of the interactive instrumental group MNT Florence Ensemble, directed by Esther Lamneck, director of New York University’s Department of Performing Arts. Amongst the events on the program are Tommaso Dini’s seminar, Timbre Trainer (March 25th at 4 pm) and three free multimedia concerts (March 25th at 5:30 pm, March 26th at 6 pm, and March 27th at 9:30 pm). The festival will take place in the Sala del Buonumore at the Conservatorio Cherubini in Piazza delle Belle Arti, 2 in Florence. Entrance is free.
